Ashtanga
My class is an introduction to the Ashtanga yoga, a thoughtfully designed sequence to cultivate a practice tailored just for you. The postures are linked with breathing thus creating a fluid meditative practice; pranayama techniques will be offered at the beginning or at the end of class to integrate overall well-being, strength and awareness. Closing with a relaxing Savasana with a sound bath background music to release stress and ground the body. Join me to breathe and flow together . Any levels welcomed!
WHAT IS ASHTANGA YOGA EXACLTY:
Ashtanga is a dynamic style of yoga that follows a specific sequence of postures, linking breath with movement. It emphasizes a structured practice that builds strenght, flexibility, and concentration, often incorporating aconsistent flow known as “vinyasa”. The method is typically practiced in a specific order, which helps cultivate discipline and a deep connection to one’s breath and body.

Ciao 👋 I’m Chiara. I’m practicing Ashtanga yoga from more than a decade and teaching it from three years in Arcata, California. My purpose is to offer safe yoga sessions suitable for any levels practitioner. My yoga teaching style is inclusive and supportive, focusing on mindfulness and breath awarness while encouraging students to connect deeply with their bodies and cultivate inner peace, increasing as well body strenght and felxibility. I want to help you develop a practice in accordance with your abilities.
